August Adventure - Saturday 17th of August
The date is set but the route and time is not. Please make suggestions as to where you would like to roll this month, whether you want a morning jaunt or shall we stick with the afternoon cruise? We could look at something bush like and plan car pooling. https://www.facebook.com/events/557389830984613/ |
Saturday 20th July: Bike safety checks at 2:30 PM - Start rolling at 3pm.
The plan is to meet at the College Rd end of Roma Street Parklands, near the corner of Parkands Boulevard. This is opposite the. Watermark Hotel. Don't let weather scare you off. Last time forecast said there was going to be a thunderstorm and the day was perfect.
This is the route that our route co-ordinator (what a cool job title eh) thought up, please let us know what you think. It is a nice exploration of the creeks and parklands on the north side of the river. It will be a bit longer than last time, but not hilly nor will we be riding any faster, very manageable by everyone who wishes to join. It is mostly off road bike paths with small pockets of bike friendly on road.
